Our Second Annual Senior Capstone Project Finalists!
New Visions Charter High School for the Humanities IV opened in 2017 and serves grades 9-12 in Rockaway Park. The majority of our students reside in Far Rockaway - one of the most underserved yet resilient communities in NYC.
Twenty-eight of our founding artist-scholars were selected to complete full grant proposals for their Senior Capstone Project. These projects bring provocative ideas forward that address a challenge or strengthen an asset in a community of choice.
Selected grant proposals in February will manifest during Trimester 3 this year. Funded projects can receive up to $400.00. Funds raised will be used to cover materials, equipment, and promotion for the projects.
