Alex Dayrabekov, a former teacher of Ukrainian for Peace Corps Ukraine, working with a group of Ukrainian volunteers, has been buying and distributing food and supplies to people living in bomb shelters in and around Kyiv and Cherkasy.  Along with groceries, these include items such as blankets, shoe inserts, clothing, diapers, shampoo, buckets, and more.  He began these operations shortly after the war began and is able to put funds to use as soon as they've been received.
