Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine from Spain

Hi, my name is Elena Slivnyak, and I'm on the board of directors of Fight With Ukraine, an American non-profit organization that helps send vital aid to Ukraine. We just secured 66 tons of essential aid that includes food, diapers, daily essentials, and medical aid that is awaiting transport from Spain. We booked four huge commercial C-class trucks that can transport 22 tons each to the border of Ukraine. Our volunteers in Spain will drive these trucks under police supervison to the Ukrainian border. Our relative, who is in the Ukrainian Army battalion will pick up the aid with other army volunteers. The aid will be driven to Kyiv, also under the Ukrainian Army's armored protection. After it is delivered to Kyiv, the aid will be packed into smaller trucks and delivered to one of the hardest-hit areas in Kharkiv, and its surrounding regions. We have everything we need except gas funds for these trucks. Each truck will need around 5000 euros to complete the mission from Barcelona to Kharkiv. There are people in dire need of food, water and other basic needs that have been cut off from receiving aid by the Russian occupation. These efforts will be facilitated directly by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and have a greater chance of reaching these areas. We are asking for any amount in donations to help us make this happen. There are women, seniors, and children stuck in these areas without assistance, water, food, electricity, and heat. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will help us succeed.
