The kittens are super cute! It’s amazing how resilient animals are! This Mama must have had her babies a week or two before that arctic storm/weather set in!!
The Front Range Lost Pet Rescue is a team of volunteers dedicated to helping people find their lost furry family members.
Our volunteers range from those just starting out to some with up to 30 years of experience and extensive training, but all with a love for animals. Many of us have been assisting other rescue groups or doing this on our own for years, but we came together surrounding the Marshall fire disaster to help find lost loved ones, and continue to assist with other lost pet rescues.
We often assist people without the financial means to contribute much or any to these efforts. Most of our costs have been covered by the volunteers themselves or with some donations of materials and equipment from companies and others who have been aware of our efforts.

For each search, we generally have these costs:
-8 to 12 AA lithium batteries for ea trail cam, 6 pk $18 x 2 or more for ea search $50-$75
-subscriptions for trail cams, $16 - $18 ea per mo, 1-3 cams for ea search $35-$50
-1 to 3 dz wooden stakes for street side lost pet posters $22 per dz (some donated or discounted, some are recovered and reused) $44
-1 ream of copy paper to create posters, flyers, and hand-outs $3.40 ea ($34 per carton of 10)
-printer ink approx $30 -lamination pouches for flyers and posters, 3-4 pks of 100, $45-$60

Our expendable costs can be between $250-$400 per pet.
