More information about Humane Society of Raleigh County Inc: Our organization was formed and became operational in 1979 for the express goal and objective to promote humane treatment of animals by way of education, humane animal population control, and humane care for injured, homeless, stray, and lost animals. We have since become a no kill facility. We also now treat every animal needing medical care, whether it be sick, injured or neglected.
