Humanatarian Fundraiser for Red Crescent

I'm Ali Williams former Founder and creative director of nofitstate the UK's leading contemporary circus, now living in central Portugal. I am working with a team of local volunteers to raise money for the people of Gaza who need urgent urgent medical care. This is a humanitarian fundraiser aimed at saving lives, as the situation in Gaza worsens and attacks begin in the West Bank

Through organising events and benefits, festivals and film screenings, in the last 2 years the people local to Barril Do Alva/Arganil/Oliveira, Portugal have raised over £7000 to send to Palestine for medical aid, through a variety of fundraising events.

On the Sunday 15th June we are organising another mini festival ay Parque Comendador Jose Simoes Silvestre, Barril do Alva.

A huge number of volunteers, performers and musicians, cooks, facilitators and artists are coming together to create a festival to raise funds for the Palestine Red Crescent, the organisation running the few remaining hospitals in Gaza. The red crescent runs the vital ambulance services and hospitals in Gaza. See www.ifrc.org Funds will be transferred to the Red Crescent in Palestine by international bank transfer
