Hi guys, my name is Blair. 12 months ago I started my journey with Through Strangers Eyes to shed a light on the lived experiences of strangers and allow their personal journey, perspectives and advice impact those going through a similar walk of life. In the last 12 months the response to the page has been beyond incredible and I cannot thank each and every single one of you for being apart of the most supportive and beautiful community. On the 1st of April(less than a months time) I leave the Gold Coast in my van to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, while visiting as many of you as possible to share your stories. My trip starts in the state of NSW which will truly be a beautiful beginning to something incredible. To say this has been a big risk for me as someone who has worked pay check to pay check is an understatement. But at 25 years old with no mortgage, no kids or responsibilities, I thought there was no better time to capture the platform I have and make a real grass roots difference while inspiring a new way of connection to people, stripping back the layers and allowing people to be seen, heard and understood through the power of just listening. Unfortunately due to the pay check to pay check lifestyle I’ve lived and unfortunately a lot of us do, I have barely any funds behind me to pay for things like fuel, food and camping permits. This was daunting for me but I never wanted it to stop me from going after promoting positive change and something that lights me up in side. So I NEED your help! Help me stay on the road by helping me cover some of the major trip costs so that I can facilitate and allow those who feel alone and not heard, not be heard and seen through our amazing community and highlighting their own personal journey in the hope that it inspires others. Finally thank you so much for your time, your personal money, I know times a tight and a lot of people are struggling, but just know your money goes a long way to me helping those who truly need it. Don’t forget any donation is considered a tax deduction so any donation you make to help me can be claimed. Once again thank you so much for your time and support, I cannot wait to share this journey with you all. Love from Blair
