Human Angels - Help a Friend Fight Cancer!

Calling all of you Human Angels out there!

I am always involved helping when and where I can. It's my "calling." And sometimes I find I cannot do it all...I need the help of friends.

This is one of those times.

A friend of mine/ours is battling cancer...leukemia.

The wonderful doctors at Mayo Clinic have given her much hope of kicking this cancer and are positive their treatment will get her into remission and back on her feet.

Unfortunately, there are so many barriers which stand in the way...

Covid diminished her immune system, and the time we all spent in lockdown sorely affected her in severely detrimental ways. Unable to get back to Mayo to complete the lifegiving treatments. Unable to work...forced to stay quarantined in her home to avoid contracting this virus which, according to doctors, would kill her.

She planned ahead. She pre-paid future expenses. Was set to be bill-free for close to a year. But Covid time dragged on...

In spite of her strategic planning, time took effect....

During this time her savings were depleted. She couldn't even afford to buy food....

Bills are now mounting...utility, medical and basic home living expenses are oppressively eroding her spirit and health.

All forms of government/social assistance/disability is pending...in limbo...and there is no way to rush the "impersonal system."

No one can exist in this type of limbo.

Our friend needs help. From me and you.

-Helping pay for living expenses & stopping utility shutoffs.

-Securing her transportation to and from Mayo Clinc, and...

Its strange....our little friend has been a Human Angel to so many over the years. The stories are many...donating time and money, feeding those in need...even taking people in need into her own home.

Now is the time she needs Angels. She needs us.
