Help Us Support SEND Families Hull to Hornsea Sponsored Walk

Hi everyone,

We are Listening Ear 4 U, an organisation committed to supporting families of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive space where SEND children and their families can connect, find support, and experience joy through events specially designed for their unique needs.

To raise funds for our upcoming events and outreach programs, we are embarking on a sponsored walk from Hull to Hornsea, starting at the Trans Pennine Trail in Sutton.

Why We're Walking

Families with SEND children often face isolation and a lack of accessible activities. That’s where Listening Ear 4 U steps in. We organise inclusive days out, sensory-friendly events, and peer support gatherings that offer both fun and relief. Every pound raised will go towards:

-Hosting sensory-friendly events tailored for SEND children

-Organising family outings where parents and siblings can relax and bond

-Providing emotional and peer support for parents and carers

-Funding accessible transport when needed for days out all over the UK
