Hull & Barnsley Railway Stockfund Coach 40 appeal

Hi my name is Peter Cox Trustee and Committee member of the registered charity, The Hull & Barnsley Railway Stockfund .

I also volunteer on the restoration of our H&BR bogie Coach 40 currently located on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway ( NYMR ). During a recent survey of Coach 40 it was pointed out that new toughened glass will be required to replace the old 108 year old current glass in the windows 42 panes in total is required to make our coach complaint with today’s ORRs Office of Rail and Road standards for safe running on our heritage railway across the Uk . Therefore I decided to set up this GoFundMe appeal to help with the expensive cost of replacing just about all the glass currently in situe in the coach .
