Please help of you can! We just rescued two Great Danes that are severely underweight. Bailey is headed to the vet right now for emergency surgery. We will post a video and pictures as soon as we can get in to see her.
Here's what Pam Peterson, our President, sent to us on her way to the emergency vet.
"Well my fellow animal lovers, I am on the way to an emergency vet with Marla and her foster dane girl Bailey. Her uterine infection will kill her and at the last minute our primary vet decided not to risk it. I am paying over a thousand out of my own pocket to help pay it, but it will be higher than that . If you can help donate even 10 bucks it will help greatly! She will be having the surgery tonight. The number of the vet is [phone redacted] ask for David if you can help at all . She came to us with pyrometria and being severely underweight , broken ears and just so cold from living outside with no shelter. Those of you who saw her pictures last night at the meeting know how bad she looks. Just a 90 lb dane who should weigh 140-150lbs . I will update you all later. Thank you . Pray for her"
