Hello to all,

I hope you are well and peace is with you. My name is Letisha Butler often referred to as Letty. I've recently re-dedicated my life to Christ and within the past year have decided to take my salvation seriously. I am excited to share that the Lord has placed on my heart to travel to Kenya on a mission trip. To those of you that may know me, know that just 3 years ago a mission trip would be the furthest thing on my mind. I now delight in doing things that please God even if it means stepping out on faith and into unknown territory. If you're someone that battles with fear, battles with self-worth, and constantly overthinks your way out of potentially life changing decisions then you and I have a lot in common. This year I'm pushing myself to reach new limits through serving anyone I can. I invite you to help me in creating transformational impact!

The Mission

I will be a part of a team with pastors, leaders and a community to help share the gospel and to leave an everlasting impact in Kenya for Jesus Christ.

I will be traveling from June 19 th – 30 th , 2025 with Melanating Missions and Sowing Seeds of Joy both of which are non-for-profit missions organizations.

I will accomplish this by...

Personal Transformation – Stepping out of my comfort zones, developing new leadership skills, and growing in compassion and humility.

Humanitarian Aid – Helping to provide food, medical care, and resources to those in need.

Cultural Exchange & Understanding – Learning from and engaging with different cultures while respecting traditions and beliefs.

Encouragement & Fellowship – Uplifting local believers, non-believers and missionaries through prayer, encouragement, and support.

Community Outreach – Serve and support local communities through acts of kindness and charity.

Sustainable Impact – Implement projects that create long-term positive change rather than temporary relief.

I'm asking for your help!

The goal is to raise $5000 which will include airfare, lodging, meals and trip insurance. If the Lord leads you to give even $1 or $5 please give as soon as possible. If you are unable to support financially I ask for your help in prayer.
