Felix Diaz Memorial Service

My name is Lupita and my beloved father passed away on September 15, 2022. There are so many wonderful things to say about him, but it wouldn’t even fit in the description. My father was suffering from kidney failure and for the past few month he was ending up in the ER very consistently. He wasn’t able to eat, drink water and sleep for a very long time. We all knew he was very tired and he would say it too. My father was a very well known man. Very respectful and admirable. He was a musician and played multiple instruments and only had one hand. He was an inspiration to many. He was a very strong man. Even though he was quiet at the right times he alway let you know how he felt and told you the truth. My father was such a wonderful father. Always present for any important event. He help raised his siblings. He was such a good friend. Fun loving. He knew how to make you laugh. My father comes from an indigenous Mexican tribe named Los Tarahumaras who he was very proud to be. He made sure we knew where we come from and to be proud of it. We would go running together for miles because Los Tarahumaras are known for long distance running. My father was alway helping someone. When I was a kid we would drive to Tijuana to drop off bags of clothes and toys for homeless people in Tijuana. He did it with no hesitation because he knew how it felt to grow up with limited food and supplies. He was a very humble man. My father love to play music. He played base guitar at the church’s choir, he played accordion every Saturday at a convalescent home for the elderly. He played the 12 string guitar at family parties. He loved to sing and he would sing passionately. He was a very family oriented man. The best grandfather, the most supportive brother, the most loving husband, the most giving father. Always making you laugh. He was very kind and not judgmental. He knew how to forgive and he wasn’t afraid to admit his mistakes. He always gave the warmest hugs. He had such a good memory and will remember little things about you that will leave you smiling. He was the type to give all the kids the cutest funniest nicknames. He kept ever single birthday card we gave him. Any gift that we gave him he hold on to it dearly. We will truly miss his presence. He left his family with lots of beautiful memories. Memories that will stay in out minds forever. He taught us so much especially true love and strength. We love him so much and we will celebrate his life on earth.

My family and I greatly appreciate any donation that will be used for his memorial service

Thank you!
