This is a campaign to support our friend Michelle Sandler, and her family, as she battles through chemotherapy to treat breast cancer.
Michelle is a lawyer who has spent her career defending the rights of those less fortunate. She's also a mom, wife, aunt, cousin, sister and friend. She is always the first to show up with homemade marshmallows (her specialty) or dinner when life gets hard for her friends.
She is starting her second of three rounds of chemo, which will last well into 2016. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we'd like to give Michelle the gift of rest (she's out of paid sick leave) and allow her to take a month off work so that she can truly focus on her health and family.
Instead of spending money this month on pink paraphanellia (which has undoutedly raised awareness of this terrible disease), we ask that you consider donating to this cause... the health and well-being of a friend, who is currently fighting every day for her health, and her family.
