Hugo De La Cruz (Living Colors) Fundraiser

Hello, Dear family and friends,

As you all know, our dear Hugo is known for his outstanding wood and plaster work and his high efficiency and love for every detail in his career. Hugo is a true artist. On February 9, Hugo became very weak and went to the doctor for treatment. Hugo received an unexpected diagnosis; that his heart was weak and not working as it should. In the following weeks the situation worsened to the point that he was admitted to the hospital. The news was that his condition was too serious with a very discouraging prognosis. The doctors would not allow Hugo to return to work hoping the time would be spent resting and recovering.

Hugo began his recovery over the next four months awaiting news and hoping the doctors would allow him to come back to his productive life with modified duties. The appointment was to be June 8th, but sadly and unexpectedly, all things became more complicated as four days before that appointment, Hugo suffered a heart attack again, for which the doctors have had him in intensive care in an induced coma.

Fortunately, the devices have already been disconnected and his heart has slowly started to improve. His wife wonderful wife Blanca, has informed us that he will undergo a procedure to insert a pacemaker in his heart.

If all goes well and the pacemaker works, Hugo will begin a very long recovery process, which is unpredictable. Hugo and Blanca have three beautiful children. Hugo has been the breadwinner for his family and now they are entering a very critical economic situation, and asking friends and loved ones to donate during this time is the only way we can make a difference in the current lives of Hugo and his family.
