Hugs & Hospice for Jeanie

Dearest friends of Jeanie Vernon,
As many of you know, Jean (Jeanie) Vernon is battling an aggressive cancer and her medical team, in close conversations with Jean and her family has transitioned her to hospice care (leave it to the Jeanie aka “the boss” to be sure her care is handled EXACTLY as she wants it). Here’s where YOU or your friends or departments can HUG Jean one last time- let’s face it- Jean is THE BEST HUGGER on the planet- with her hugs being bested only by her contagious SMILE. Jean’s family has her in a place where she is comfortable and well cared for (some of you may know Jean’s wonderful husband John is not able to care for her as he suffers from dementia- and Jean was taking care of him). But, her insurance does not cover the $255/day cost of the facility that is taking such good care of our friend- insert the frustrated, saddest face here! Let’s hug it out with our friend and lovely lady by raising the funds to cover 30 days of hospice care so that Jean does not have to be moved to a new and less capable facility- more than an hour away from her dear husband and family! Put on your very best Christmas sweater (Jean never met one she didn’t LOVE), say a prayer for this sweet Angel and hug Jeanie the sweetest of final days with your donation of any amount!
