Hi everyone,
Last monday my husband Kevin got really sick and got tested positive for COVID-19. On friday he was rushed to the emergency room at Southwest Hospital. After evaluating him, recieving his lab results, and monitoring his vitals they decided to admit him for the night due to him not being able to breathe and get any air into his lungs. The next morning they moved him up to the 6th floor to get him hooked up to oxygen with a higher capacity. On the 20th they had to transfer him to the ICU for increased respiratory needs, he now has pneumonia and as of today is being intubated. He can no longer breathe on his own. I was told it can take weeks before he's taken off the ventilator depending on his progress. It's now almost 2 weeks and I am so scared and worried since he doesn't seem to be improving.
For all of you that know Kevin, you all know he is truly one of the most genuine, kind hearted, loving, goofy, free spirited people out here. It doesn't matter what kind of day he's having, he always brightens everyones day by making them laugh, he is full of love for life and it shows through his personality.
Please, If you are able to help donate anything to help with his medical expenses it would mean so much to our family and be the biggest help during this difficult time. In addition to the contribution I ask if you all can pray for Kevin to be fully healed and recovered so he can finally come back home to us. Anything is greatly appreciated thank you and god bless you all.
