Huff Park Improvements

Northeastern Little League (NELL) was recently the victim of a break-in at our Concessions Stand located at Huff Park in Grand Rapids, MI. Our regular season ended June 5th and all money was removed from the stand outside of some coins that day. However, those who perpetrated the break-in took exception to that and ransacked the stand, breaking most of our equipment, ruining league apparel, and destroying a large portion of our food inventory. As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, these all collectively help to fund our league and invest in our baseball and softball programs.

How Can You Help?
For those that have offered their assistance in helping to clean up the mess, we as a league have the cleanup covered. Our parents are very active in our league and we already have more than enough volunteers to handle the cleanup and rebuild of the stand. Although, we cannot thank those enough who have volunteered their assistance for people they don't even know. Your compassion shows that there are still people who care!

Money donated to NELL will be used to cleanup the concessions stand, replace damaged equipment and merchandise, and improve our security at the stand. Any leftover funds will be put towards improving our fields as we are currently undertaking a capital fundraising campaign to perform a major infield renovation project this summer/fall.

At NELL, we are passionate about Little League Baseball and Softball.  Our goal is simple: we want to provide playing opportunities and facilities that our current players and those that come after can truly appreciate and remember long after their playing days are done.
