Aid trip to Ukraine
Spende geschützt
Hi everyone, following the 2 successful aid trips to Ukraine from Moray in Scotland last year, I Danny Ralph from Burghead in Moray intend to go a 3rd time this July.
I've already managed to get a long wheel base van and have now completed most of the required maintenance to it, including new tires, oil and filter changes, and a re-spray.
The journey to Sumy in Eastern Ukraine (20 miles from russia and the front line) has a number of costs.
We started collecting aid in January and now have a number of blankets, wheelchairs, zimmers, crutches, bandages, medicines and other basic medical supplies, we were given a defibrillator too which is an incredible gift for us to hand over to one of the trauma units in Sumy.
We also have clothing and shoes, there are millions of ordinary people in Ukraine who have lost their homes and have little or nothing left so the items we are bringing will make a difference.
As well as the much needed medical supplies I will be taking out items for an orphanage including children's clothes and a number of toys.
If we have space in the van we plan to buy dog food and wormer in Poland where it is cheap and bring it out to help volunteers who are trying to care for abandoned pets.
We can't complete the journey without financial support so we have to ask for assistance in our humanitarian efforts.
Thank you to everyone who supported our previous aid trips and thanks to everyone who can support this trip.
