We need your help to make art live at Hue House!

The COVID-19 pandemic made opening, operating and keeping a new small business going very difficult. We have worked hard, exercised an incredible amount of creative problem solving and pivoted until we can't see straight. As a small and brand new business we did not qualify for the pandemic relief funding programs and have been putting everything we can towards the store this past year to keep it open. We've succeeded but in the process we have spent the money we had budgeted to outfit the studio for classes and community use. This is where we need your help!

We are coming to the community to help us make this a creative and usable space upstairs at Hue House. We have a beautiful studio for learning, creating and sharing ideas and want to make sure we have the tools and equipment to make it viable as a studio and community space.

We have identified the following as what the studio needs to offer classes and open studio time and funds raised will go to making these purchases.

• Large studio tables
• Studio stools
• Children's tables and chairs
• Drawing horses
• Easels
• Drawing boards
• Bike rack to be placed on the back patio of the store
• Materials for DOODLE BAR open hours

(The DOODLE BAR will be open during various times throughout the week for anyone to drop in and use provided community materials and supplies to create and doodle, free of charge. The concept of The DOODLE BAR is to foster creative thought, creativity and exploration without the structure or cost constraints of a traditional class while also offering the environment to network, meet new people and exchange ideas in a neutral and safe space)

Studio equipment will be used for classes and available for community use during open studio and DOODLE BAR time when the space is not being used for instruction. We truly view this as a space for community building, collaborating, sharing and creating. Please help us make this a resource for our community.
