My name is Steve and I am Hudson’s uncle. After a few health scares and some sudden changes such as OCD, severe anxiety and more, Hudson was diagnosed with PANS (Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) a couple of months ago. Every day is a struggle for this little guy now. As an outsider, my heart breaks for my sister, brother in law, nephew and niece. This diagnosis affects every part of their daily lives. Hudson’s PANS is due to severe mold exposure. His test results revealed that he has major mold in his body and he is also in severe oxidative stress. Several of his vitamin levels are well below where they should be and his poor little body is fighting so hard. John and Brittney found specialists in Indianapolis and are going to seek treatment for Hudson. They have already paid thousands to have him tested, their home tested and then remediated for mold. Every doctor visit, treatment, etc is completely out of pocket. They will now also have the added expenses of flights and hotels. My heart breaks for them and witnessing all of this has been eye opening and difficult.
