Hi everyone, our names are Dylan and Jayna. This is one of the hardest things our family has ever had to share.

During this pregnancy, we learned that our baby has a severe congenital heart defect (Critical Aortic Stenosis.) Since that diagnosis, our lives have been turned upside down. We are facing constant appointments, repeated fetal echocardiograms, specialist consultations, and the reality that we must travel out of state for advanced fetal cardiac care.

There is a possibility of fetal heart intervention before birth, a procedure that carries significant risks — including the chance that it could be fatal to the baby. Every step forward comes with fear, uncertainty, and decisions no parent should have to make.

Right now, so many things feel scary, urgent, and overwhelming. We are doing everything we can to give our baby the best possible chance while trying to hold our family together through one of the most difficult seasons of our lives.
