Hi everyone,

Our family is coming to you with humble hearts as we support Jada and Nate during the hardest season of their lives. Their baby boy, Hudson, was born on 12/13/25 and is currently fighting in the NICU at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, where doctors expect he will remain for months. They should be spending these days at home bonding as a new family — but instead, their world is the NICU.

Hudson has already been through more in his short life than most ever should. Due to an infection and related complications, Hudson needed to undergo a bowel resection surgery when he was just 12 days old. He had to undergo major surgery that included removing part of his intestines and his appendix. He currently has an ostomy. Right now, the doctors’ focus is on getting him healthy and stable. Every day is about hope, strength, and small steps forward.

No parent is prepared to watch their newborn fight this hard.

On top of everything, Jada is still recovering physically from an emergency C-section, while spending her days and nights in the hospital with Hudson.

The NICU becomes your whole world. It’s constant medical updates, waiting, praying, and trying to stay strong minute by minute. Jada and Nate have been sleeping at the hospital, staying by Hudson’s side as much as possible through everything. They’re doing everything they can to be there for every moment, every update, and every step forward. Nate is working limited hours so he can be there for Hudson and support Jada. As the weeks turn into months, the financial pressure of everyday life does not stop.

We’re asking for help with basic bills and daily necessities — mortgage and utilities, gas and transportation, groceries, meals during long NICU days, and other essential expenses so Jada and Nate can focus on what matters most, Hudson’s healing.
