Hudson's Cuddle Cot Memorial

On June 24th, Alison woke me up to her water breaking so we made our way to the hospital to bring our beautiful baby boy into this world. Once we arrived and got Alison settled in, the nurses checked on Hudson to make sure he was ok and stable due to prior complications. It was at this moment we were told that Hudson no longer had a heartbeat and had gone back home to heaven. Alison and I were devastated to hear this news and we didn't think we would be even given the chance to spend any time with our baby boy.

The hospital informed us that they had a device that would preserve his body so that we could spend the time we needed to say goodbye. The Cuddle Cot is designed to help parents who go through terrible experiences including stillbirth, neonatal death, and SIDS by giving them the gift of time to have lasting memories with their baby. Thanks to this wonderful device Ally and I and a few loved ones got to cherish the moments we had with Hudson and shower him with love.

Currently, Medical City Frisco only has one Cuddle Cot. By helping us raise the money, we can donate a cot in Hudson's name so that every grieving parent/family at Medical City Frisco gets the same opportunity as us. We were blessed with unlimited time to soak up and memorize his features and say our goodbyes uninterrupted or rushed.

The donated cot would have his name engraved into it so that his memory can live on not through just our family but for others that go through this as well.
