Hi, we’re Scott and Geraldine! Hudson’s pawrents.
Everyone who knows us, knows Hudson. You’ve either seen him grow up in person or lived vicariously through videos posted on IG. Hudson is our 7-year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi who still has a whole life ahead of him. He’s not your average fluffy corgi. He’s rambunctious and always eager to play. Hudson plays hide and seek with us. He LOVESSSS his collection of Lambchops and can never contain his excitement when you play fetch. He has a brother named Zeke who he is inseparable with. You can see the absolute joy in his eyes when he’s taken to the beach or spends time at a campsite. He is an extremely active boy, but has suddenly and unexpectedly come to a full stop.
Hudson has been recently diagnosed with chronic IVDD and unexpectedly lost his ability to walk with his hind legs in the last 24 hours. It has been recommended that he get surgery ASAP to hopefully save him from going to complete paralysis. However, cost of surgery and rehabilitation has hindered our current finances and we cannot fully cover the costs on our own.
We want to give him a chance to continue a full life without (less) pain. Whatever outcome comes out of it, we want to feel at peace knowing that we gave it our absolute all for Hudson - this, I hope, includes your help. He deserves it so much.
Any donation will not go unnoticed. We will make sure Hudson knows he’s forever loved. Even if you can’t, please pray for his recovery.
