Hudson beginning his fight!!

I am not one to ask, I am always the one that shows up for everyone else. But this time I am asking for help. Not for me, but for my family, more importantly for Hudson, my 16 year old son. Hudson is in a fight for his life to an UGLY VILLAIN named cancer. We first became aware there was an issue in late July when he wasn't getting better from an earlier illness he had. He noticed his voice changing. He was ready for an appointment with the doctor to see what was going on. Little did we know our world was about to change. After the Dr's appointments, a trip to the ER, and being transferred to another hospital via ambulance, emergency surgery to open his airway, we were told there was a chance this was going to get bad. Before being discharged the news came to us.... confirmed cancer.
Hudson will be treated for alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma stage 2a. Between Kaiser Permanente, Rady's Children's Hospital, and UCSD Moores cancer Center... we are looking at near a year of intensive treatments, surgeries, and hospital stays.
In the midst of finding out this news and preparing to start treatment... we were in a horrific car accident, rolled our vehicle 3x off the side of the road into a deep ditch... and by the grace of God... Hudson, as amazing as he has always been, was the one that freed us from the vehicle we were trapped in. We all crawled out of the ditch with minimal injuries. He was gifted with this phenomenal strength... not only physically but in every single way. He has always been incredible and every day he shows his heart in everything he does for everyone around him.
Anything we are able to raise will go towards getting our Hudson Healthy. Whether it's the co-pays for his hospital visits, medications he may need, a tank of gas for a friend to get us to and from these appointments or a ride until we can afford a new vehicle, the new diet he will be on to maintain his health, anything and everything to give him what he needs when he needs it.
