Hudson an active happy 8 year old fighting cancer

Hudson, 3 days before his 6th birthday was diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma, a rare form of brain cancer, in April 2021. Hudson had two brain surgeries, 33 rounds of radiation, and Chemo at St. Jude.

Since then, he has shown no signs of cancer. During his recent routine visit, they found 3-spots on his brain and a mass on his spine, news that no one wants to hear. Hayden, Lacee, Hudson, and his two sisters will travel to St. Jude again for treatment. In two weeks, he will undergo surgery to remove the mass on his spine, and although 2 of the 3-spots on his brain are tumors, they will treat those with radiation, no surgery. He will have 30 rounds of radiation on his spine and brain. Chemo is still to be determined.

Hudson, his parents, and two little sisters will live in Memphis during treatment. Hayden will be taking an FMLA, and Lacee is a full-time momma. Because they will not have any income coming in and trying to keep up with bills, you can only imagine the worry on how to juggle it all. No family should ever worry about bills when going through something like this.

Hudson is an active, happy and loving 8 year old. He loves playing soccer, baseball, flag football, and hanging out with his friends and family.
