Johnny and Manda Huddle live life in a way that makes love a verb. They challenge us to invite Jesus into our lives in a very real way. They lead people into running marathons, taking risks, stepping through fear, breaking barriers, and loving others. They inspire us, encourage us, and speak truth into our lives.
It's time for us to give back. It's time to love them, encourage them, and SURPRISE THE HECK OUT OF THEM!
As a mutual friend of the Huddles, I am inviting you to take part in a top secret surprise! Last summer John and I talked about how much it would mean for our spouses to be able to go to Kenya and see the work World Vision is doing in the field. John is an amazing leader for Team World Vision in LA, but he would be the first to admit that it wouldn't be possible to do what he does without Manda.
John recently made a commitment to return to Africa to run Comrades at the end of May, 2016. Comrades is a difficult 56 mile race in South Africa. It would mean the world to him to have Manda there for support but more importantly, it is crucial for Manda to experience the work that is happening in the field. This kind of experience will continue to fan the flame that will change countless lives here in the US, and in Africa. That's where we come in. Let's make it happen! Let's do something big and crazy and unexpected. Let's surprise the Huddles by sending Manda to Africa with John. In order for them to have time to prepare and plan, we are going to reveal the surprise the day after the LA marathon. That means we have just over 2 weeks to collect the necessary funds. Will you join us surprising them by making a donation?
