Huck's Fundraiser for Paw Fund

Okay, people, it was actually a very easy decision for me when I thought about it to decide where to ask people to donate in Huck's memory - Paw Fund. This non-profit offers free wellness services to pets based on a harm-reduction model. This is where I got Huck's vaccines a number of years ago, when I was under-employed and felt like vet care was something I just couldn't afford (and luckily Huck was a reasonably healthy dog for most of his life, so we did okay for ourselves). So I want to give back to them now - I am absolutely sure the money will be put to excellent use. Please give what you can in Huck's honor.

More information about Paw Fund: Helping low income and homeless pet owners take care of their companion animals by providing free wellness services, such as spay/neuter and free vaccinations which curbs the spread of contagious diseases and lowers the numbers of unwanted pets in animal shelters; to educate pet owners and the general public about pet wellness and the consequences of pet overpopulation; to nurture the animal/human bond by providing assistance to those who might otherwise have to surrender or euthanize an animal due to lack of resources; to keep animals out of shelters by reducing the population of kittens and puppies and keeping animals with their caretakers; to take in owner-surrendered pets and shelter animals for re-homing; to publish educational and informational materials promoting animal welfare.
