Christopher Garrett is a 2014 honors graduate of Chester High School. While in high school, Christopher participated in the Rotary Club, was President of the National Honor Society, Vice President of the Chester Youth Council, and President of the Phi Delta Kappa youth auxiliary. Upon his graduation, Christopher enrolled at Howard University as a Pre-Law major. In his first year at Howard, he maintained a grade point average above a 3.0 while participating in a youth literacy initiative in Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, Christopher’s financial aid was exhausted after his first semester of college. Unable to pay his tuition, Christopher was unable to return to college for his sophomore year. Currently, Mr. Garrett is planning to transfer to Alcorn State University to complete his undergraduate studies but cannot receive his college transcript from Howard University until his previous balance is paid. With your help, Christopher will be able to complete his post-secondary education at Alcorn and move on to attain a Bachelors degree in Political Science.
