Hubert's Heart

This is Lovely and family. We have set up this page for our dear husband/father/grandpa Hubert James. Anyone who knows Hubert knows that he doesn't ask for much. He is always ready with a joke and an encouraging word or scripture. He loves the Lord and attending church. He loves his family and his dog. He loves working in his garden and relaxing in the hot tub.

A few weeks ago, Hubert's heart defibrillator stopped working. He went into heart failure. He has been in the hospital since then and unable to work. After a bout with Covid (thankfully he has recovered), Hubert is officially on the heart transplant list.

This is where you come in. The hospital has said that at least $10,000 is needed up front before the surgery. This out of pocket estimate includes VA insurance and Medicare. No doubt the final cost will be more than that, but that is the number one most pressing need.

Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
