Hubby needs a hip

we seem to be discovering that pa, where Kevin works, does not offer temporary disability. He cannot apply for unemployment because he is still employed. And he cannot get benefits from nj because he works in pa. He does not have supplemental insurance. His surgery is scheduled for April 4 to be followed by undetermined recovery time

I’m raising money for my husband to be able to have hip replacement surgery without having to worry about how we’ll pay the bills while he recovers. He is the sole provider of our family which includes our teenage daughter. I am not able to work due to Parkinson’s. He has been carrying the load, emotionally and physically for several years now and it is taking a toll on his health. Despite being in near constant pain, he has been trying to work through it but his doctor has recommended that he have his hip replaced as soon as possible. Luckily he has great health insurance that will make having the surgery possible. But being out of work for approximately 6 to 8 weeks is not something he can do without an income.

We are humbly asking for help paying the mortgage and bills for approximately two months to allow him time to heal without having to worry. This would be a huge relief to us and it is not something we ask for easily. Please know that we will be grateful and thankful and will update you on his progress.
