Meet Emerson - a special paralyzed baby that was welcomed in Mowgli’s Orphanage Animal Rescue over the weekend. He saw the vet for X-rays and general wellness exam on Saturday (10/09) where it was concluded his paralysis is due to a congenital defect. Meaning he has for some reason never had use of his back legs. We are scheduled to see a neurologist on Friday (10/15) - I was quoted $180 for the initial consult, and an MRI would be $2400. Emerson also has acupuncture therapy coming up which is going to be nearly $500 for six weeks of sessions.

Emerson is a ball of light that is just so happy to be here. He doesn’t know he’s any different, and all he does is purr, purr, purr.
