The well-known Black Panther Party brought many social programs into being, some of which became national public services, like the school breakfast program. One of their other services was to help people get transportation to visit their loved ones in prisons. The New Afrikan Black Panther Party wants to carry on this tradition and is seeking help to raise funds to purchase a secondhand van for this purpose. The goal is to be able to provide weekly trips from their base in Newark, New Jersey.
