Support for Jerry and his Family
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brenden, and I'm fundraising for my family during a very difficult time. At only 47 years old my Father, Jerry, was diagnosed with Lymphoma residing in the brain - last December. just a few days before Christmas. At one point, he had recovered for the short span of a few weeks, before the had lymphoma returned with a vengeance. Many more months of fighting, and he is running low on strength, and family and friends come together to give their prayers for what is likely his final hours.
My Father is a great man. The greatest I will ever come to know on this Earth. He is empathetic, loving, authentic, and damn tough. He is everything I wish I could be. He is loved by everybody, and was an absolute gem of a man. And, not just a great Dad, but my best friend too - powered forward by a wife that supported him and fought for him with every ounce of her being. During this time, we all tussle with the emotional burden of watching my Father battle Lymphoma, but also the financial strain that comes with medical treatments, care, and the effects on the household while we help him through this battle. For a long time, I wrestled with the idea of asking for donations - but the time to ask for help is now. This is a struggle that no family should ever have to face. It is difficult, and it is cruel to everybody involved. Cancer will test every fiber of your humanity, and we have felt the pain and the burden of that. He will not only be leaving behind his wife, but six children, both his mother and father, a brother, three sisters, and countless other friends and family. Your generosity would mean the world to us, and your support will provide financial relief for a struggling family. If you are unable to donate, your help in spreading the word, and your prayer, is enough.
Since starting this fundraiser - Jerry has passed away at home.
Below are some photos of Jerry at his best.
Thank you and God bless.
