Ban together for Chase
Donation protected
Everyday, most of us wake
up, pain free, and ready to start our day. Imagine not being that lucky.
I have a friend, who's incredible son is going through such a difficult time. Chase, should be at school with his friends, playing with kids on the weekends, ans
not having a care in the world at this precious young age. Instead, he was diagnosed with childhood cancer, called Rhabdomyosarcoma.
For years, chase has been battling this vicious disease, with multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Chase and his family did have good news of some Tumors removed, but recently found more.
Because of his bone marrow transplant (which was so bravely from his mother, Jennifer) his immune system is like an infant so they cant do any more chemo for him. He has several different areas where the cancer has come back. He has two masses on his spine. He has another one on his knee and he has a spot they found on the liver. They are still treating him with radiation in hopes to shrink the cancer and minimize his pain. He is now seeing Eastern Chinese Doctors for herbal healing as well.
Not only this, but during his cancer treatments in 2011, his father very suddenly passed away as well.
I have such a heavy heart for this family, mainly because of how genuine, kind, and loving they have always been. I know Chase is very uncomfortable lately, with so much pain going on. I am writing to all of you in hopes to cheer him and his family up this Christmas. I know we cannot heal him, but I think we can ban together and
hoelfullt purchase some comfort items!
Massagers, games, comfort clothing, as well as some extra Christmas gifts for not only Chase, but his brother Blake as well. Not to mention, their super mom Jennifer who is there for them around the clock!
I lay down at night knowing I can sleep comfortably with
my own daughter in the next room healthy, and to know how hard it is for this family, crushes me, so I want to make sure they have anything to help cheer them up and make them comfortable this winter!
Lets ban together for Chase and his amazing family! Ideas are always welcome! And maybe we can all create a list of ideas for them!
