Help Luna Recover from Emergency Surgery

Donation protected
Update: At 2:07 pm, February 19th, Luna crossed over the rainbow bridge. After a week of fighting in the ICU her body was too weak to recover from such a major surgery and we had to let her go peacefully. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped us get our story out there. Although she has passed we are still left with a $26,000 medical bill to pay. So please still share if you can.

Hello Everyone, this is Luna, my 8-month-old pit-bull puppy. After noticing she wasn’t feeling well, we took her to the vet, and after extensive testing, they found a buildup in her stomach of plastic and string causing a blockage. During emergency surgery, they found 8 holes in her intestines and had to resection 9 inches of it. She is currently in intensive care, and because of the complicated surgery and aftercare that she will continue to need for some time, the bills are mounting.

With help from family, we have been able to cover some of the bill, but it grows daily due to her needing 24-hour medical supervision, treatments to jumpstart her body to heal, and feeding through her medical tube. Please help us and Luna if you can by donating or sharing this post.
