I got laid off in January. Normally I can find a new computer programming job pretty quick but because of the current situation in the world, lots of companies have put things on hold. As if being out of work isn't enough, I recently found out I have a medical issue that will require surgery so I have the added expense of maintaining my health insurance myself (COBRA -- $500/month), plus lots of out of pocket expenses. Short version: Other than unemployment, I'm broke. 

I need help. Specifically with Rent ($1500) and health insurance ($500) and food money ($500). Anything you can do would be very welcome. Thank you. Also, I will keep track so as soon as I'm flush again I can pay everyone back.
