Help Daniel Walk Again

Hi, I'm Samantha and I'm launching this Go-Fund Me Page to support my brother in-law Daniel.

On 28th March 2024, Daniel underwent major spinal cord surgery to remove a tumour that was inside his spinal cord. He was expected to make a full recovery, however when he woke up from surgery he couldn't move and is now paralysed from the ribs down (T6).

Whilst processing this devasting and life changing news Daniel, his wife Rachael and their 17 month old son also had some news; their young family was growing, with their second child arriving in November 2024.

Despite the challenges, Daniel has just started to regain some movement after extensive physiotherapy over the last year. He is determined to walk again. He faces a long road to recovery, which will only be possible with additional therapies - well beyond what NDIS can cover.

We are hoping to raise enough funds ($20,000) to cover the cost of therapy for 2 days per week, for 12 months.

If any additional funds are raised this will support Daniel with equipment and modifications at home and ease the financial pressure on this young, growing family during such a life-altering time.
