Valkenswaard GP and MX1 drinking team member Paul Golding suggested riding from Northampton to the Lommel GP in Belgium, a distance of 240 miles! Several beers later and Shaun Stewart "Stewy" and Martin Goddard agreed to give it a go. A few weeks later Ryan Gee jumped on board. It was then decided to do it for charity and the chosen charity is the UK/Euro division of the Road2Recovery, set up to support injured MX riders and extreme sport athletes. Also, many of you will have seen Pauls Tandem "MX" bikes at various GPs over the years, he is currently building a Honda version in memory of the late great Eric Geboers (875). This bike will be used during the charity ride. Support will be from Jo Mckenzie, Pauls partner and Ryan's girlfriend Paige Waddington and at some point by accident prone Kenny Rogers. We will be leaving Northampton on Tuesday 30th July and arrive in Lommel on Friday 2nd August.
