Charles “Dre” Ross Legal Fund
Donation protected
On behalf of Charles “Dre” Ross, the family is seeking your help to raise funds for legal representation for pending charges and future court appearances. Charles was involved in a physical altercation that unfortunately resulted in death. He has been incarcerated since August 29, 2019 and the court appointed attorney does not appear to have his best interest at heart. We would like for Charles to be given a fair chance to appear before a jury of his peers and not spend the rest of his natural life incarcerated. All funds raised will go towards the cost of a private attorney who will defend Charles in future hearings and appearances before the court.
Who is Charles “Dre” Ross?
Up until his incarceration, Charles has been an outgoing son to elderly parents. He is a devoted brother, father of two, grandfather of six and uncle of 12 who all looked up to Dre. Charles served as a deacon in the church where he was married 16 years ago. He was also very active and devoted Mason until his incarceration. Charles graduated from Walter F. George High in 1985. The Class of ’85 could always depend on him to assist with any events, fundraisers, etc. One call and that’s all it took. Charles was always the first on the scene to lend a helping hand. Charles has been a caregiver for many elderly-oftentimes taking them to their doctors’ appointments, picking up prescriptions and grocery shopping. These great qualities are what Charles possess and why we would like to ensure he is given an equitable opportunity to be able to one day continue serving his family, friends and the community at large.
Please consider donating to this legal fund. No amount in too small. If you cannot donate at this time, please share the GoFundMe campaign. We thank you in advance for any contributions and seek your prayers for Charles and his family during these trying times.
