Shakespeare with Benefits for Razom for Ukraine
Tax deductible
Want to join Shakespeare with Benefits (SWB) in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit Razom, Inc., and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your fully tax-deductible contribution to this organization which is working to provide relief for the Ukrainian refugees.
Razom means “together” in Ukrainian. Razom for Ukraine’s Emergency Response is the SOS button that is pressed in times of need. They created this project to provide urgent help and support in face of an extreme and unforeseen situation in Ukraine. Today, the sovereign nation of Ukraine has to deal with the most horrendous and catastrophic emergency – a brutal invasion. Razom is responding to this by providing critical medical supplies and more to the refugees and to those who stayed behind to fight as well as amplifying the voices of Ukrainians. Razom for Ukraine is focused entirely on Ukraine and as they are made up of mostly volunteers, nearly all the money raised goes directly to their cause.

Shakespeare with Benefits is a New York City based theatre company of professional actors who performs their "Bard-Based Variety Show" to raise money for good causes.
Past live shows have raised over $5,000 each for New York Cares and the ACLU. In the spring of 2020, SWB launched their online show to raise money for two organizations fighting COVID (find the online show here: https://tinyurl.com/msa9ry3h). SWB has also performed in Hull, MA, to raise money to preserve an historical site there. All our proceeds go to the chosen beneficiary.
In addition to this GoFundMe Campaign, Shakespeare with Benefits will perform their "Bard-Based Variety Show" on May 10, 2022 at The West End Theatre in the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew, 263 W. 86th Street, NYC. All funds raised from ticket sales to the performance and tickets sold for a drawing of donated prizes will be donated to Razom for Ukraine.
