Hello Family and Friends of Arie Giddens. I am reaching out to you on behalf of our friend and sister Arie Giddens. It has become necessary for Arie to obtain legal counsel regarding the removal of her fost/adopt children. Being that it will cost upwards of $10,000 we have established a GO FUND ME account. Many of you already know my situation and how I too have been in a similar position. If it were not for a good attorney and thousands of dollars paid I would not have been able to re-claim my good name and character.  It has devastating effects on your future employment and life in general. It leaves you with feelings of hopelessness and helplessness when you are without proper representation to win a case that is unwarranted. We cannot and will not allow the system to continue to trample over our dedicated, loving and nurturing fost/adopt parents. I am not saying anything personally against social workers for I too have worked as a social worker going into the homes of foster parents. By the same token as a foster/adopt parent you don't have a leg to stand on once those children are removed from your home. There are still wonderful supportive social workers out there just as well as there are wonderful fost/adopt parents. Arie Giddens just happens to be one of them. If I were not with her on a regular basis, visiting her home frequently, taking her and the kids to the doctor when everyone in the house was sick, going to fun places with her and the kids, observing the children (yes with a social worker mindset as well) this would be a whole different story.  Myself and others know how well she cares for and loves her children and would never ever put them in harm's way. Arie's family as well as myself and other supporters are sacrificing and are asking if you too can find it in your heart to contribute any amount toward her legal expenses. She has a court hearing coming up the first week in April. It is extremely crucial that she find the best attorney possible "now" that knows child welfare and family law and how this case applies to the San Bernardino County child welfare laws.
