Our family has ben visiting Puerta Plata for more than 15 years not only for the sun and the sea, but  friendly people.  Poor but happy . There at the end of the beach of the Riu Merengue  hotel we met Carlos and Melanie selling souvenirs from their little shacks. On a good week Carlos & Melanie made $50 about enough to feed their family, now all is gone after hurricane Irma.Help is needed, please donate to our fund to help rebuild their souvenir stands and livelihood. Without our support it will be impossible for them to make living.
Thank you
