I'm recent years, my family's health has been horribly affected by cancer. About 3 years ago, I watched my beautiful mother slip away from breast cancer. Watching her pass was one of the most painful things I've ever experienced.
This passed month, my father and mentor was diagnosed with cancerous tumors near his kidneys. My Uncle Manuel has been diagnosed with terminal kidney and liver cancer. It has been so difficult seeing my family struggle with this disease. However, we are choosing to stand united as a family and fight together.
