Hi, I’m Mike.

I never imagined I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but here I am—humbly reaching out to my friends and family as I prepare for an important eye surgery that I can’t put off any longer.

I’m already partially blind, and my vision is continuing to deteriorate. This surgery is critical to preserve what’s left of my sight, and as much as I wish I could power through it solo, I’m facing a few roadblocks.

The surgery requires me to be out of work for about 8 weeks, and while insurance helps with some of the cost, I’m still responsible for a high deductible and my usual monthly expenses while I recover. I’m trying to raise $4,000 to help cover these costs and make it through the recovery period without falling behind.
