Hello family and friends,

As many of you may know, on Saturday, April 18th, HTownBankHead (TeJon) was struck by a car while traveling home after supporting another injured bike rider’s fundraiser.

HTownBankHead (TeJon) suffered serious injuries, including multiple fractures to his face. His jaw is broken in five places and will require facial reconstruction surgery, which may slightly alter his appearance. In addition, both of his kneecaps are broken and will require intensive surgery to ensure he is able to walk again.

His road to recovery will be long and challenging. He will need ongoing medical care, multiple surgeries, and extensive physical therapy to regain his strength and mobility. Due to his jaw injuries, he will also be on a liquid diet while he heals and is unable to chew or fully open his mouth for at least 6 weeks.
