Delaware County Friends of the Trail (DCFT) has an immediate need for $10,000 in order to launch a trail building project in Galena, Ohio. For an minimal investment of $10,000 we can start building a $377,000 trail project; the rest of the funds have already been secured.This trail is an important segment of the 325 mile Ohio to Erie Trail which runs from Cincinnati to Cleveland. The project includes rebuilding a scenic bridge that crosses over Little Walnut Creek and has a beautiful veiw of Hoover Reservoir. It will also pave .7 miles of trail through Galena. 

If we raise this money the trail will start immediately and be completed in approximately 3 months. DCFT is a trail group focused on completing the the last 6 miles of the 16 mile Ohio to Erie Trail that runs through Delaware County. DCFT has been an active trail group since 2000 and has raised $1.3M for this trail so far.
