HTI in The USA, The Final campaign

Resuming the campaign that was meant to happen last year but postponed due to covid.

 

HTI is a collective of individuals with the vision and goal to inspire young people to find and use their gifts and talents to make a difference in the world. The acronym stands for "Here to Impact", We believe that God has given everybody gifts and talents for them to be multiplied and used to make an impact in the world we live in.

My dream has always been to use my gifts and talents in order to help others find purpose and meaning in their lives, and that's precisely the opportunity I've been offered."

 

A chance to travel to the USA, where I'll be spending 9 weeks of this summer in a camp with young people from all walks of life, and all kinds of experiences. Invited to teach sports, Music, Art, amongst other things. The hope is to connect to the core of who they are and to inspire them to live out everything that they're meant to be.

 

At an age where young people are searching for significance and can be easily swayed into self-destructive paths, the goal is to create an environment this summer where they can be free to live and laugh and to allow enough room for them to breathe and find purpose.

 

In going, I would spend the first 9 weeks working with Americamp where I will gain experience working with young people and training in counselling before travelling for four weeks around the states spreading hope.

 

 

As fast summer approaches, the funds will be needed urgently in order to cover costs and plan realistically. Every penny you invest into this cause will be used for the solemn purpose of impacting young people. To cover the charges of transport and accommodation in a land I've never step foot into. They'll also be used to fund the equipment that I'll be using to document the journey and the tools I'll be using to put events and activities together where I'll be moving in purpose for 13 weeks. We've managed to cover the costs for food, accommodation and some of the events already due to the fundraiser we did last year. These extra funds would help cover flights, insurance and details.

 

I am grateful for your continuous love and support. I'm hoping that in going on this adventure, I will learn and grow with the opportunities they've provided to me and use this growth to continue making an impact when I return home to Oxford. That's why your support means the world to me. It means that I'll be walking in purpose and actively pouring the love that has been run on me first into the young people I'm journeying to meet.
