Help save this little guy!

update Saturday day 3 after surgery :
He is getting around well, eating, and using the litter box with no problem. We finally got his incision covered in something that he can’t squirm out of!
his 2 ER vet and local vet visits totaled more than my paycheck. But, to see him happy is worth it!

Update Thursday morning:
he is doing well after amputation surgery. He gets around just fine! He will have to wear his wrap for 2 weeks until the staples come out. thank you for donating! He is an expensive little guy. He is estimated to be 13 weeks and weighs 3 lbs.

update Tuesday night: our fave vet Dr. Hamilton at Animal Wellness and Healing says she is pretty happy with his condition, so he is spending the night there. AMPUTATION surgery will most likely occur in the morning. They said it’s a very painful break for him so they don’t want to wait too long.

update: lung is ok, abdomen is ok. Both will heal with time. Leg amputation surgery is necessary and expensive.

This little stray guy was hit in the Mercer High School parking lot on June 2. He went to MedVet Girard where they diagnosed him with a broken back leg, a collapsed lung, and an issue with his abdominal wall. They recommended him for MedVet Akron where is he is staying the night in oxygen for more diagnostics. The leg may need to be amputated, but the abdominal wall could be the more expensive procedure.

if you could spare a few dollars for his care, we would appreciate it!
